The History:
How was the
Toast-Host born?
Well, for years whenever
I stayed in a hotel or
guest house and arrived
for breakfast, the first
thing to appear on my
table would be the
toast. Great, but within
minutes the toast was
cold and that lovely
aroma was gone.
So I wailed, "Why
doesn’t someone invent a
device to keep my toast
hot until I want to eat
it?"
I
waited and waited and
had cold toast for
years.
Eventually a bright idea
came to me, "Why not
invent this device
yourself !"
For years as a
mechanical design
engineer I had come up
with ideas for companies
and individuals to solve
their design problem.
So I set to work in my
spare time sketching
ideas, and came up with
a number of different
schemes. Finally I had
something which looked
acceptable and made
myself a working model.
The result in my own
humble opinion was the
perfect toast warmer.
The
"Toast-Host".
Whenever we had guests,
I would try out the
Toast-Host to show them
and see how they felt
about my invention.
Most people who saw the
Toast-Host loved it and
wanted one. Only one
problem, there was only
one in the world, mine.
So encouraged by friends
& relations, I had a
full prototype made and
embarked on the lengthy
procedure of getting the
Toast-Host to market and
this is where we are
today.
So here it is, the
Toast-Host, tried and
tested, rugged,
reliable, simple to use,
cheap to run & easy to
keep clean.
